Week Four
This week was interesting and stressful. I am very intimidated by
the idea of a personal constitution. My mind is changing so constantly that
putting anything on paper is just too concrete for me. There is so much I want
to do I just don't know how to choose.
I liked what was taught about the three circles, and I've heard
similar things before. I've made decisions about what to do with my life
before, and I struggle to stick to my dreams. I always get distracted and dream
up new dreams. I just don't know enough about myself I guess. I will try doing
the scientific study as was suggested. Maybe what I will find is that I can't
just stick to one thing. Is there a career that constantly changes focus, so I
will stay interested?

What will people pay me to do?
There are a lot of tedious jobs I could do, so this list is probably never-ending, but just so I can visualize, I will list things I’ve been paid to do in the past.
Subway sandwich artist
Office secretary – three times
Restaurant hostess – this was actually my favorite job so far. I felt useful and loved working with customers and the other employees. It was challenging on busy days. I had to be smart and organized. I liked problem solving and being friendly. I gained additional responsibilities while working there and helped the managers with office work. I really felt special and appreciated. I miss working there. I only quit because I had to move.
